Ryan Solomon and Malcolm Murray started this business with nothing.  We built it, and we care about customer satisfaction and our reputation.  In these economic times we have found the only way to stay solvent and competitive is to run lean.  Being a small owner-operated company with a low overhead we can pass on the best and lowest pricing to the customer.

Ryan Solomon is a lifelong resident of Michigan. A 1995 high-school graduate of Walled Lake Central, he went on to attend both Oakland Community College and Western Michigan University, earning an associates degree in business management. He entered into the construction trades by insulating houses before switching to industrial electric work in 1999. In 2000, he was employed by a residential electric company where he met his partner Malcolm. Together, as master electricians, they started Solomon Murray Electric in 2006. Ryan resides in Hartland with his wife Renee, who is expecting the couple’s third son.

Malcolm

Malcolm Murray was born and raised in White Lake, Michigan, graduating from Lakeland High School in 1996. After high school, Malcolm attended Michigan State University and Oakland Community College. After working in construction for many years through school, he entered into electrical work in 1998. He received his master’s certification in 2005 before co-founding Solomon Murray Electric with Ryan in 2006. He currently lives in Fenton with his wife Cassidi and their six children.
